An Air Force NCO went on a racist rant using Facebook Live for some reason

An Air Force technical sergeant used Facebook Live to go on a racist rant about black female subordinates last week, because that must have seemed like a brilliant idea at the time.

While wearing her camouflage uniform at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Tech Sgt. Geraldine Lovely went on for a minute-and-a-half about how black female airmen, according to her, constantly have a “giant fucking attitude.”

“It pisses me the fuck off that they have no fucking respect. … what the fuck is up with that?” she asked in the video, which was initially posted to a private Facebook group. It was later published on the Facebook page Air Force amn/nco/snco since, unlike Vegas, what happens in a private Facebook group usually doesn’t stay in a private Facebook group.

“I am trying my best to hold my professionalism with them,” she added, forgetting that it may not be very professional for an Air Force E-6 to record a live video of herself complaining about black people.

Predictably, the base put out a statement saying that Lovely — who doesn’t seem to be very lovely in the video —  was removed from her supervisory role as they investigate.
